Sessions at Viva Voce are conducted by Cathryn Robson, CT ABRSM. Cathryn is a trained vocalist and internationally qualified voice coach versed in the latest singing and teaching methods. She established Viva Voce Singing Studio in 2007. She has previously taught in England and Canada.
Cathryn studied voice and composition at Brighton University and Goldsmiths College, London in addition to performance training with English National Opera's 'The Knack'. Her experience as a singer includes popular, jazz and classical repertoire.
She has performed and recorded extensively throughout the UK and Europe (discography below) including appearances on Classic FM, Radio 3, Liberty Radio, London and BBC Radio Napa.
In Cyprus she has worked with many of the nations' leading companies and artists including THOK (National Theatre of Cyprus).
More locally, Cathryn has collaborated with Stage One Theatre, Paphos, as voice coach to the cast of their first music theatre production. She is currently coaching young people at Paphos Youth Theatre. She appears regularly on the local circuit as vocalist with jazz/pop trio Da Capo.
